Special

Hi there!

It's been a while since my last post... but then again, school's started for another year, Fall's here and I'm a busy bee!

But something very special came with the mail a couple of days ago, and I'd really like to share it with you guys... A couple of weeks ago, I purchased a couple of things at the e-store of an Australian blogger, one of my favourites: Nicole Warne, from Gary Pepper Vintage, and I don't know what I expected but surely not what I got.

I'm used to Amazon, that is to receiving items from so close a country as the UK with MONTHS of delay, having them delivered in impersonal envelopes... well, you get the idea. It's not necessarily bad all the time, it's just not very special.

But the other day, I got home from school in kind of a foul mood (I don't remember what I was cross about, I just remember that I was... :D), and the doorman told me that something had come for me, and gave me a padded envelope with my name and address handwritten and a stamp from... AUSTRALIA!

I hurried home, opened it and found exactly what I'd ordered (2 beautiful vintage necklaces and a cotton bag), perfectly wrapped, and with the cutest etiquettes I'd ever seen:

Vintage Necklaces from Gary Pepper Vintage
Golden Shoe and Chain by Manolo Blahnik for Tous (18th Birthday gift from my dear family!)

What do you guys think? Talk about costumer experience... :)

I hope you have a loovely weekend, my friends! Happy Halloween! ;)

Fall really IS here... :)

PS: I've been overwhelmed by work lately, but I have a certain surprise coming soon involving a giveaway... so stay tuned! ;)

Looking Back

Hello, my friends!

I am back to my dear Barcelona, and I have something I've wanted to show you for quite a while now...

Right before the summer started, in one of my trips to the flea market, I came across this wonderful 1967 magazine about the latest fashions from the time (it's really lovely, it comes with patterns and everything!) and I just thought it would be a wonderful time to post it up here, especially after seeing the fall runway so influenced by 60s and 70s styles.

I think what I love the most about it are the wooonderful fabrics... *-* I get lost in the colours, the drapes, their wool-y feel...

This last couple of weeks I've been the first one to go crazy checking online all of the shows for next spring, but I just thought you might want to accompany me in this little trip down memory lane... from which I fully expect to come back and attack the most modern, avant-garde and fashion-forward, well, fashion! ;)

Have a wonderful week, everyone!

The Last Meal

Hi there!

It is Saturday the 8th of October today, and I cannot help but feel that this exciting adventure of mine is slowly coming to an end. Yesterday was my last day at work, my flight back home is in a few hours and this years' course presentation is on Monday.

Which means that at some point this weekend I'll have to jump back to reality and start preparing for what is to be a very interesting, very exciting, very demanding and extremely busy school year.

But for now, I leave you with my Last Meal in Paris (halfway into my belly by now):

Bon appétit!
