Colourful Beading & Floral Print

Hey there!! :)

Just doing a quick post before I get back to work... a big pile of Patternmaking homework is waiting right here by my side.

I just wanted to show you a couple of pretty things I bought this weekend... *-* The first is a pair of beaded sandals. I love them because they're so colourful and graphic, and have this sort of ethnic or tribal vibe.

This is the grandma jewelry I bought in Bruxelles... ^^

They actually remind me of the last Spring/Summer 2011 Missoni collection, I guess because of their choice of colours, playing a lot with black. I could even relate them to the Proenza Schouler show and their brilliantly modern and fun version of "lady-like" style.

The other thing I wanted to show you was this super cute backpack I bought at Blanco for I think 20€... *-*

Isn't it the cutest thing? I love it because it's such a happy little bag, and my laptop fits in it, along with all the rest of my stuff... :)

So anyway!! I leave you with what I hope are happy thoughts, and a promise to post soon about St George's day... ;) Have a great beginning of the week!

Sunny park in the Spring

Hello, dears!! Happy Earth day!!

Although the weather today is verging more towards a beautifully wet gray (or maybe precisely because of that), the pics I'm gonna show you are much brighter. They are from last weekend, when we took a family stroll around a park close by, agreeably surprised to find it in full bloom... :)

I hope you have a happy Friday, everyone, and enjoy the Spring!! :)

Look of the day n.1 - 1 Outfit, 2 Occasions :)

Hey guys!

It's time for some outfit post-ing... ;) This is a look I've been wearing so much lately with some variations, 'til I noticed I had actually taken pics of it exactly the same way in 2 different occasions... :D

The first one was taken last week while shopping with my mom at La Roca Village, a great place for outlet shopping of big grands. Actually, both the Bimba & Lola shirt and the 7 For All Mankind jeans were bought there like... hmmm... 10 minutes before the pics were taken. :)

The jacket, bag and loafers, on the other hand, are some of my most beloved (and worn) pieces. The blazer I thrifted in Paris last summer at the amazing neighborhood of Le Marais, and the bag is by my favourite brand ever, Bimba & Lola.

(That huge bag you see is obviously Bimba & Lola... :D)

I also wore this outfit to go strolling around my dear town (more like village, really) of Sitges with one of my best friends Lydia... The weather was so nice it barely seemed real!!

(That Eco-bag was actually given to me at La Roca... Isn't that such a coincidence?
It's apparently designed by Mónica Cruz, Pe's sister.)

Bimba & Lola buttoned-down shirt (with beautiful golden buttons!)
7 For All Mankind jeans
Vintage mustard blazer with double crossing (and again, golden buttons!) from Le Marais, in Paris
Camila's fringed suede leather loafers
Bimba & Lola gray leather bag
Ray-Ban Wayfarer shades

Lots of love for you all!! Enjoy the Spring... <3

EDIT: See the Chictopia post here.

Spring

Spring by MissLauraH featuring:

Hello, dears!!
It's finally Spring, and I thought I'd make a quick inspirational post before I finish editing a couple of jazz videos I want to show you. I just discovered this thing Polyvore, and it's so great to create collages!! You should definitely check it out. People there are also incredibly creative and make such beautiful compositions... :)
I'm off to have some lunch, but I promise a quality post later! Have a happy Wednesday, everyone!! :D
